Weronika Wojtowicz works as a Medical Writer for Care Beyond Diagnosis, which is a healthcare-oriented organization focusing on patients suffering from rare genetic disorders and their families. She develops medical CLN2 guidelines and at the same time travels representing the CBD at patients’ and medical education events around the world.
Weronika holds a Master’s degree in Psychology and a Bachelor degree in Pedagogy from the Jagiellonian University (Poland) and she is also an alumni of the Warsaw University (Poland) and of the Lisbon University (Portugal).
She has an extensive experience in rare genetic diseases due to her previous work at global headquarters of biotech company Shire (Switzerland) where she was supporting Global Medical Affairs team as a psychologist. Among her assignments she worked on predictive factors of neuropathic disease in MPSII, neurodevelopmental assessment and on brain plasticity in children.
Currently she is perusing her postgraduate studies in Process Oriented Psychotherapy.
